Patrick began his journey with Asian Outreach (AO) in June 2009 with a trip to meet AO leaders in Hong and Cambodia. He was so impressed that he joined the AO team as the Regional Missions Director for North America in October 1, 2009. Before AO, Patrick has served in pastoral work in 2 churches, pioneered an urban poor community development organization in the Southern Philippines and has led missions training schools. One of his favourite things to do is to introduce people to what God is doing in Asia.
A facet of AO that Patrick highly values is the reality of how emerging strong national leaders in Asia are being mentored and empowered by the preceding generation.
Being married to an Asian and having lived in Asia for 7 years, he has acquired a taste for Asian things including durian. Patrick and Inneke live in North Vancouver BC, Canada with their two daughters where they enjoy family trips to Whistler Mountain – home of the 2010 Winter Olympics.
